Spring has sprung at YOUR Museum!
The days are getting longer and the weather a little warmer which makes me excited to share all of the good news and fun upcoming opportunities for you at Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass. Wonderful news! We are absolutely honored to have just achieved American Alliance of Museum’s reaccreditation, the gold standard of excellence in museum work. Originally awarded accreditation in 1974, the museum is one of only 21 museums in Wisconsin to currently be accredited and of that 21, one of only 11 fine art museums to be accredited. This month, we are offering the gift of membership as part of our Spring Membership/ Fund Drive. Sign up or renew your membership and you will receive a gift membership to share with a loved one. Consider a donation and receive a gorgeous Robin Lehman glass heart as our gift to you. Membership affords exclusive access to museum’s programs and events with significant discounts to our classes and museum shop. It’s a great way to give the gift of experiences while supporting your museum. We are also grateful to the Kimberly Clark Corporation for supporting a special community mural honoring female leaders throughout history. Called “Fused by Numbers”, women and girls are invited to help make this special artwork. Admission free, just sign up to be one of the artists in creating the large-scale glass mural.
