NEON NIGHT
Celebrate all things neon with a guided tour of the popular exhibit, “Language of Light: The Neon Art of Stephanie Sara Lifshutz.” Led by YOUR Museum’s Executive Director Amy Moorefield, please join in a lively discussion on the concepts behind and the making of Lifschutz’s stunning works. Then head to the studio and make your own neon-inspired painted glass lantern or glow sign.
Guests get to choose one out of two projects they’d like to create for our Create & Converse: Neon Night. Below are descriptions of both available projects guests may choose from:
- Neon Painted Lantern – Design and decorate a glass lantern with neon paint. Use a votive candle to make your work of art glow!
- Glow Sign – Get inspired and create your own neon sign using a light strip and canvas. This project does require guests so use a hot glue gun.
