Glass for all!
Posted on Sep 22, 2023, by Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass
On behalf of Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass Board and Staff, my sincerest thanks and appreciation to each of you for supporting in so many ways and attending our 2023 GLASS Arts Festival! Approximately 4,800 visitors attended, with nearly half reporting that it was their first visit to our museum. A huge increase in attendance from our prior year of 3,500. WOW! Your participation enabled us to provide a memorable experience for our community, engage many new visitors, and support participating glass artists and vendors.
Fun was had by all! Artists stated that sales met or exceeded their expectations. Visitors’ surveys showed that they especially enjoyed the variety and high quality of glass art on view. Everyone enjoyed the perfect weather and our lovely view of Lake Winnebago, the friendly vibe of our many helpful volunteers, making projects in the Kids Tent, watching glassblowing demonstrations and touring the museum’s new exhibitions.
A special thanks to our participating artists, our award sponsors, our juror Shawn Waggoner and our GLASS Arts Festival sponsors. Congrats to our award winners!!
Thank you for supporting YOUR museum, we are grateful. Together, we fulfilled our mission to provide extraordinary glass experiences to spark fun, kindle creativity, and illuminate learning for all.
See you in the galleries,
