Extraordinary Experiences

EXTRAORDINARY EXPERIENCES:
TOURS, PROJECTS, DEMOS, PARTIES

At Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass, we believe in living our mission every day:
“We provide extraordinary glass experiences to spark fun, kindle creativity, and illuminate learning for all.”
We think you’ll find our “Extraordinary Experiences” align perfectly with these ideals.

To enhance your experience, please review and share these “Museum Manners” before your visit. Understanding these guidelines helps us provide a safe and extraordinary experience at YOUR museum.

For Students
• Observe the artwork with your eyes not your hands. Please do not touch the artwork, cases covering artwork, or pedestals
• Stay with your chaperone in the galleries, shop, studio, or classroom.
• For your safety please use walking feet
• Please use inside voices
• Food and drink are not allowed in galleries, the studio, or the classroom
• If possible, leave backpacks and water bottles on the bus, in the car, or with the front desk

For Teachers and Chaperones
• Bring one chaperone for every 8 students. All students must stay with their chaperone in the galleries, shop, studio, or classroom.
• If possible, leave backpacks and water bottles on the bus, in the car, or with the front desk
• Students must remain in chaperoned groups before, during, and after the tour
• Teachers and chaperones are responsible for maintaining discipline as you would in a school classroom.
