HOT SHOP DEMOS
FLAMEWORKING DEMONSTRATION
Enjoy a private, narrated demonstration of the glass art process and learn about techniques such as thermal shock, states of matter, and annealing. Artists use techniques inspired by works in the museum’s collection.
30–60 minutes | $60 for up to 15 people
$15 additional fee per 10 people
GLASS BLOWING DEMONSTRATION
Experience a live, educational look at hot glass techniques and see how artists transform molten glass into works of art. Demonstrations are approximately 1 hour, with seating provided, and are appropriate for ages 5 and up. Content is adjusted for older groups, and projects vary by demonstrating artist.
On-Site: $200 for up to 15 people
$50 additional fee per 10 people, effective April 1, 2026
Off-Site: $500 + travel fees
Cancellation & Rescheduling:
- Cancellations less than 14 days before the event: $50 administrative fee per group.
- Rescheduling 14+ days in advance: No fee.
- Rescheduling less than 14 days in advance: $50 per student.
