Show us your best Steampunk ensemble and experience the Bending Brilliance exhibit. This won’t be the expected visit to a museum as we turn up the volume and turn down the lights. Grab a craft beer or soda and relax.
Because you asked for it, the studio will be open for you to make a fused glass key chain or pendant ($10 each).
You’ll have a chance to view a documentary about Nikola Tesla, courtesy of Wisconsin Public Television. Tesla was a futurist and visionary who discovered the rotating magnetic field, a fundamental principle in physics and the basis of nearly all devices that use alternating current (AC). He is the “mad scientist” behind the technology of the Bending Brilliance exhibit.
The screening will be at 7pm in the Mabel McClanahan Memorial Study Gallery on the second floor.
