On Facebook the AACG Wisconsin Artists Series will resume on June 18th at 6:00 p.m. with a presentation by Door County glass artist Deanna Clayton. There will be a live Q&A with the artist available during the video.

Clayton’s work in pâte-de-verre has spanned nearly thirty years. Filmed at her Door County studio, this presentation will feature her newest work in the figurative field. Following the presentation, the video will be made available on the museum’s website and YouTube channel.

Deanna Clayton creates glass sculpture in vessel form as well as figurative works. She specializes in the glass casting technique called pate de verre. She works out of D.C. Studios in Door County, WI.

Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass will host the Art Alliance for Contemporary Glass Wisconsin Artists Series throughout 2020.
Invited artists, who have been trained in or currently work in the state, will present their creative or scholarly research in a public forum.
These lectures also may include workshops, Q&A sessions, demonstrations, and museum-member exclusive events.
All events will be held from 6-8:30pm online or at the museum on designated evenings and are free and open to the public.
