With the opening of the John Nelson Bergstrom Art Center and Museum on April 5,1959, community leaders brought a dream of John and Evangeline Bergstrom to fruition. Over the past 60 years their legacy evolved to become Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass, but the founding principle remains steadfast: to operate a free,public museum that is accessible to everyone. 

A core of volunteers made the vision of the Bergstroms a reality more than 60 years ago. Please consider adding your name to that list of visionary leaders and join us for this celebratory event.
