Executive Director’s Message

On behalf of the board and staff of Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass, I am grateful for YOU – for your support, and engagement! It’s been a wonderful beginning of the year with a very successful annual fund drive! With your assistance, the Museum not only met but exceeded the match of $40,000 provided by beloved museum supporters Roger and Lynn Van Vreede, Jock and Maria Stafford, Sandra and John Valentine, and Christine Waterhouse. Your generous contributions directly support our extraordinary glass experiences for our community, admission free for all. Thank you!

We also thank you for bringing the magic to our Crystal Ball Gala! A fantastic night had by all with proceeds making possible inspiring, one-of-a-kind exhibitions and programs highlighting the magic of glass. Many thanks to our Presenting Sponsor, Miron Construction and our Raise the Mission Match Sponsor: The Boldt Company and the many other sponsors and partners whose generosity helped make our Crystal Ball a huge sparkly success!

There is always something to do at YOUR museum! Please join us for our 2024 Fox Valley High School Glass Art Exhibition opening and award reception this Thursday, February 22nd from 6-8pm. Come help us celebrate the excellent efforts of the 100 plus high school students and the 15 participating high schools. Our thanks to award sponsors: the Lilian Noble Fund and Jack Richeson & Co., Inc.!

Looking ahead, please join us as we celebrate Women’s History Month as part of our Art After Dark series on March 21st from 6-8:30pm featuring the achievements of women who advocate globally for diversity, equity and inclusion. We thank our sponsors WE energies, Festival Foods, Associated Bank, CoVantage Cares Foundation and Wisconsin Public Radio for their support of our Art After Dark series.

Our appreciation to you for all that you do to help Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass provide extraordinary glass experiences to spark fun, kindle creativity and illuminate learning for all!!

See you in the galleries.
