Our Time to Shine

Bergstrom-Mahler Museum of Glass is delighted to share that we are embarking on a renovation project that will enhance our mission, engagement, accessibility, and visitor experience for more than 32,000 annual visitors and glass enthusiasts.

The Our Time to Shine Renovation includes:
Refreshed Galleries
…including new LED lighting that reduces energy costs by 15%.
Enhanced Accessibility
…displays, signage, and more to support our 32,000+ annual visitors.
Built-in Interactivity
…highlighting paperweight making and tools with videos of demonstrations for our 11,100 annual program participants.
Upgraded Technology
…thoughtful refinements that increase accessibility for all visitors, ensure ADA compliance, accommodate larger-scale exhibitions, and increase program capacity by 50%.

Be Part of the Transformation!

We’re Already at 85% of Our Goal! The total investment for this project is $784,891. We’re humbled to share that thanks to the generous contributions of community philanthropists, a lead grant of $250,000 from the State of Wisconsin Department of Administration Non-State Grant Program for Local Projects, and a $90,300 grant by the Fox Valley Convention and Visitors Bureau, we have just $125,000 yet to raise to make this a reality.

This campaign is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to make a true and lasting impact on the day-to-day operations of YOUR Museum! We are ever so grateful for your consideration and encourage your participation by offering the following:

For gifts of $500 or more: A limited edition glass Museum Medallion formed and imprinted in our very own Glass Studio.

For gifts of $1,000 or more: A one-of-a-kind hand-blown ornament by Tom Stoenner Glass of New York. The ornament features an “Our Time to Shine” campaign charm. Contributors who support at the $1,000 or higher level will be recognized on a commemorative donor wall. Naming opportunities are also available.

For more information on pledges (payable over one to two years) and naming opportunities, contact Amy G. Moorefield, Executive Director, moorefield@bmmglass.com, or call 920.751.4658.
